
Paul MacEnroe has been with the organization since 1989. Paul's areas of expertise include waste minimization, market development, new product development, grant writing and manufacturing assistance programs. During Paul's tenure, he has developed several programs to assist organizations in Technology Development, Efficiency and Quality Improvement. Paul is a graduate of Syracuse University with a B. A. Degree in Political Science and Broadcast Journalism. Paul is also involved with several community activities such as the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, American Red Cross and the Boy Scouts. Jack Dillard has been with the organization since 1997. He has 30 years with E.I. DuPont Corporation where his assignments have been in operations management, facilities engineering, software implementation, and inventory control. In 1983, Jack was a major contributor to the original Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) implementation team at Dupont.. In 1995, Jack supervised the implementation team to install S.A.P. software at four Dupont plant sites linking all transactions that occur everyday across an organization. Jack concluded his career with E.I. .Dupont Corporation with overseeing all final assembly operations for over 235 finished products. Jack has a AAS Degree in Biology and Business Administration from Herkimer County Community College and is also completing his BA Degree in Business Administration from Utica College. At MVATC, Jack specializes in Waste Minimization, Software Selection, Operational and Process Improvement and also has the designation as a Professional Business Advisor (P.B.A.) from the Manufacturing Extension Partnership. Bill Heron has been with MVATC since 1998 as a Senior Manufacturing Consultant. Bill has a very strong background with working with organizations of all shapes and sizes. Bill manages a client base ranging from 10 to 650 employees and up to 450 million in annual sales. Professional areas of expertise include Lean Manufacturing and Senior Management Mentoring. Bill comes to MVATC with 34 years of manufacturing experience, holding positions as Production Superintendent, Manager of Industrial Engineering and Special Projects, and Manager of Facilities and Maintenance. During his career, Bill has hands on experience in plant consolidation, reorganization and strike management . Bill also has received specialized training in Management Process Skills, Preventative Maintenance Management, Business Proposals, Software Training, Time Management and Projects Management. Bill has various degrees and continuing education recognition by Herkimer County Community College and SUNY Institute of Technology. Dave's background is as a chemist, facilities engineer, construction engineer, environmental,
health and safety director, and OSHA authorized trainer. Dave has assisted in these fields as well
as in Lean Manufacturing and most recently is finishing certification as a Training Within Industry
trainer, specializing in Job Instruction, Job Methods Improvement, and Job Relations Instruction for
supervisors.

Dr. Walt Pillar joined MVATC in 2002 as a Senior Manufacturing Consultant specializing in Lean Manufacturing. Walt develops and implements Lean Manufacturing training programs for small to medium sized manufacturing companies as well as providing direct consulting services. Walt began his career with ARCO Polymers in Pittsburgh, PA. At ARCO, Walt was a Principal Scientist managing the Research and Development team. Walt also was a Project Manager at Lockheed Martin/Martin Marietta in Syracuse, NY. At Lockheed Martin, Walt has facilitated several Lean Kaizen events on manufacturing, engineering, and administrative processes. Walt also has extensive experience developing material and concepts in the laboratory and then implementation them on the manufacturing floor. Dr. Walt Pillar has a B.S. Degree from Pennsylvania State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. Coupled with his education, Walt is Blackbelt trained in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing and has also been awarded eight U.S. Patents. John has been with the company now for 6 months. He served as the principal U. S. Government Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) to contractors
in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Denmark. This involved day to day contract administration and
conducting ISO 9000 surveillance audits. Source inspection to military and commercial
specifications of a wide variety of products attended to. He was also responsible for the
acceptance of these products and services on behalf of the U. S. Government and procured for the
U. S. Defense Department, NATO allies and NASA. He does all of our quality work such as ISO etc.

David joined MVATC in 2006 and has brought 40 years of manufacturing experience with him. The majority of David's career was spent with the E.I. Dupont Corporation where he held positions as Operations Supervisor, Communications Specialist, Labor Relations Manager, Employee Relations Superintendent, and Director of Human Resources. David was chosen to be one of the original "change" agents selected across the company for specific training in bringing Remington Arms company and its employees into the "new era" of communications and organizational effectiveness. He spent his last fifteen years as Director of Human Resources at Remington Arms servicing upwards of 3000 employees. David has specialized training in labor relations, benefit administration, safety, employee grievance handling and pay structures.
